Often, the way
Internet Explorer (IE) is set up after a fresh install of Windows can
result in the need to keep
hitting F5 to refresh the screen to view the latest web page each time
you go back to that page. This change is extremely useful when placing
ads on boards and being able to avoid needing to keep refreshing after
posting. This example was done on a system running IE6 and WindowsXP Professional. |
| Please also be
advised that this particular change will make a dial up system appear to
slow down as each page will have to re-load every time. |

Start IE |

Step 1
Start IE. (I am using IE Version
6.0.2900 for this example). |

Step 2 Click "Tools" and then click
"Internet Options..." |
|

Step 3
Click on "Settings..." |
|

|
Step 4 Click on "Every visit to
the page" and then click "OK"
and then click on "OK". |

This will make IE automatically
"reload" each page that is accessed without you having to
perform the reload yourself |
